D.U.D.s

I had a dream last night that a new holiday was declared.

National Dress-Up Day.

Not like halloween where you dress up as something, but where you put on your finest, dressiest (maybe even most formal and/or extravagant--I'm not sure if there's a difference) clothes for the day.

I know a lot of girls would probably be up for something like that.

But in this dream it wasn't just that people would dress up, but they would also treat each other like ladies and gentlemen... a lot of "Sir"s and "Madam"s being thrown around.

And people went to a lot of places even though no one was really expected to work... like the mall was open and the people who work there were there (all dressed up) but no one was really buying anything, people were just wandering around being seen in their Dress-Ups.

Lots of wandering around. Like stopping at several different people's houses for brief visits to compliment and be complimented on their clothes.

And some people would even have an entirely different set of clothes for a big National Dress-Up Evening.

A big formal evening event... like a ball (I guess) (I bet a lot of the men would probably just wear what they wore during the day).

Anyway, at one point in my dream I was back at work (before the actual Dress-Up Day) and people were talking about how Thanksgiving was still their favorite holiday... and one girl was saying how it was just something cooked up by big Corporate Fashion companies to make even more money by selling these new expensive clothes.

Inspiring

If you haven't laughed in a while, turn on the sound and watch this video.

Is it weird that this makes me want to make movies more than anything else I've seen in a while...?

... yeah, I guess it is.
